Invisible disabilities

In this week’s House assemblies, students have been hearing about a range of invisible disabilities and how it is important that we do not automatically judge someone and their behaviour. It may be that they have a hidden disability.

Students were told about some of the behaviours that people with Anxiety or Depression, Autism (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Dyspraxia might have in school. Students were told how teachers and school staff have to make reasonable adjustments for them.
