To help celebrate the festive season you are warmly invited to attend both our Christmas Music Concert on Monday 10th December at 7pm in the Main Hall, and our annual Christmas Carol Service in St Peter’s Church, Hope on Thursday 13th December at 6pm.
The Christmas Music Concert will feature our Wind Band, Choir, Big Band, String Ensemble, Flute Choir, Clarinet Ensemble and Folk Group. There will also be opportunities for the audience to sing along to some festive numbers. The PTFA will be running a bar and mulled wine and mince pies will be sold during the interval. We are asking for a £5 donation to go towards the cost of the evening, and to help support the music department.
The Carol Service will also feature our Wind Band and Choir, and will take the form of a traditional Christmas service with readings and carols, and a Christmas message. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served after the service. There will be a collection for charity during the service.
If your child plays/ sings with any of the groups listed, please make sure they have given you a letter about these music events. Please make sure your child arrives 30 minutes before the start of the concert/ service, and is wearing black trousers/skirt, a white shirt/ blouse, black socks or tights, and black shoes.
We look forward to welcoming you all at this very special time of year,
Head of Music
